FAQ's
At the bottom of your machine there will be a flap. Under the flap is a “sump pump”. This becomes blocked with baby socks, wires from bras etc. Switch the washing machine off, open the valve and release the items. If we send an engineer and the sump pump is blocked you will be responsible for the payment of the invoice.
You will need to reset your fuse board. Beside the trip switches there is a reset button, press this button then put the trip switch back up.
Whilst you are waiting for the plumber you can still use the toilet by simply pouring a bucket of water down the toilet. Do not do this if your toilet is blocked.
Some boilers have thermostats that use batteries. Try replacing the batteries before calling the office. If your boiler still does not work please call the office.
If they become temperamental when switching on this is usually an indicator that the starter is needing replaced. This can be located on the side of the fitting.
Press a lever located on the side of the inner window frame. Please ensure you know how to operate your windows correctly.
It is easy to tighten the screws on the hinges.
Simply spray WD40 into the lock.
Please always check that your timer has not been switched on as this will stop your oven functioning.
If they become blocked you will experience a build up of water and or ice. Please clean this filter regularly.
In order for heat to build up for use the next day. You should not switch your storage heaters off at the wall when in use. You can simply turn the output dial down to reduce heat.

Emergency out of hour repairs and repairs during public holidays will be for the following emergencies only:
- Loss of heating
- Loss of power from fuse board
- Fire
- Flood
